I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012, specialising in accounting, tax, audit and forensic accounting, joining ICS Accounting in 2016 as I wanted to apply my practice training to strategic business development. With no typical day, my focus is overseeing financial operations, reporting and budgeting; working with all teams to ensure consistent compliance and lead our financial growth strategy. What I love most about ICS Accounting is the people: everyone works as one team, which cultivates a strong, friendly business environment and enables a healthy balance between work and home. I work four days a week, split between office and home. Outside work, with 5 little monkeys in my amazing family, there’s never a dull moment! We love spending time outside; the park, days out and beautiful Morecambe bay. My perfect weekend consists of a lazy family breakfast, outside to explore, then once we’ve tired out the little ones, a movie. And of course, no perfect weekend is complete without a Sunday lunch!
